Dolphin Swim, Ligurian Honey and Gin

Kangaroo Island lies off the mainland of South Australia, southwest of Adelaide. Over a third of the island is protected in nature reserves, home to native wildlife like sea lions and diverse bird species. In the west, Flinders Chase National Park is known for penguin colonies and striking coastal rock formations, like the sculpted Remarkable Rocks and the stalactite-covered Admirals Arch

At about 7am* your chauffeur arrives to convey you to the Adelaide Airport and your waiting aircraft

After a short flight, you are landing at Kingscote Airport where Kangaroo Island Transfers awaits to deliver you to Emu Bay jetty...

...get ready for a fabulously full day

Swim with the Dolphins.jpg

A 3 hour cruise with Kangaroo Island Marine Adventures follows where you will enjoy listening to the dolphins using a hydrophone, and experience marine wildlife, such as seals, sea eagles and osprey along the stunning North Coast of Kangaroo Island, including a 500 year old fossil bed.

Then, swim with wild bottlenose dolphins in shallow and protected waters in an experience that will take your breath away.

The morning is not complete without morning tea and home-made treats at a remote beach location.

Tour includes use of snorkels and wetsuits, and is great fun for the whole family!

Once back on dry land, we visit Kangaroo Island Spirits, KI's very own gin distillery, for sampling then it's lunch time when you could indulge your taste buds with Marron  or Kangaroo Island Oysters

An exploration of Kangaroo Island is not complete unless the tastes and properties  of the honey from the purest strain of ligurian bees in the world is discovered

In the late 1800's bees were brought to Kangaroo Island from the Italian province of Liguria, and an apiary was established in Penneshaw. ... Because of the island's isolation, all these honeybees are direct descendants of the first bees, which makes these bees pure Ligurian and quite unique.
