LANGHORNE CREEK FOODIE AND WINE
Langhorne Creek wine region is a wine region in South Australia located on the plains southeast of the town of Strathalbyn along the lower reaches of the Bremer River and Angas River to Lake Alexandrina.
Flying south along the coast from Adelaide and turning inland about Yankallila, Wirrina Cove or Second Valley, you will fly over land as old as time. What was once covered with glaciers is now fertile land, eminently suited to dairy farming and wine growing .
Depending on the time year, you might see whales majestically gliding along, perhaps with a calf in tow, the SteamRanger's Southern Encounter tourist train, or both
Glacier Rock, Inman Valley
Tracking east of Victor Harbor, you will soon fly over the Murray mouth and the northern Coorong, home of Storm Boy, before turning north to take in Finniss, Angas Plains and Langhorne Creek..
It is here your aircraft will land for you to enjoy delectable food accompanied by truly spectacular wines
